SNAP Sponsorship and Maiden Cricket announce partnership to support women’s and girls’ cricket
SNAP Sponsorship is proud to announce a new partnership with Maiden Cricket, a female-led cricket brand creating purpose-built clothing, teamwear and equipment for women and girls in cricket.
The partnership brings together two organisations committed to supporting the continued growth of women’s and girls’ cricket across the UK, combining Maiden Cricket’s focus on purpose-built products and removing barriers to participation with SNAP’s expertise in helping clubs, schools and universities unlock sponsorship funding to invest in their women’s and girls’ cricket programmes.
As part of the partnership, through Maiden Cricket, clubs will receive exclusive access to SNAP Sponsorship, giving them the tools and support to create professional sponsorship opportunities and generate new revenue for their clubs.
Women’s cricket has moved on. The kit hasn’t.
Mark Covington, CEO & Founder of SNAP Sponsorship, said:
“Maiden Cricket is doing something incredibly important for women’s cricket by creating clothing, teamwear and equipment designed specifically for female players. We’re proud to support that journey by helping clubs and other organisations secure the sponsorship funding they need to invest in their players, their facilities and their future.”
Nicole Muller, Business Lead at Maiden Cricket, said:
“Women’s cricket has moved on, but too often the kit hasn’t. Women and girls are still expected to play in products that were never designed for them. We’re delighted to partner with SNAP Sponsorship to help clubs, schools and universities unlock funding that can be invested in teamwear and equipment designed specifically for female players.”
Supporting Clubs, Schools and Universities to Invest in Women’s and Girls’ Cricket
Through Maiden, the partnership gives organisations exclusive access to SNAP Sponsorship, helping them join the platform and create new commercial opportunities to support the continued development of women’s and girls’ cricket. Clubs can redeem the discount via this link which will release the code.
Following Maiden Cricket’s recent appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, where teenage founders Honor and Cat Black received offers from all five Dragons, the partnership aims to help even more organisations access the funding they need to support the continued growth of women’s and girls’ cricket. From grassroots clubs and schools to universities and the wider women’s game, the partnership will help organisations create new sponsorship opportunities and direct funding towards the products, facilities and programmes that can make the biggest difference to female players.
